Hello everyone, I am working on my first game after a few months studying game development. This project was a little more ambitious than initially, but it will serve as a learning experience.
Initially it was just meant to be a simple game for studying game design, something very simple like going from random rooms and defeating monsters until the end. But the game had potential, so I created a very mysterious story for the player to unravel even a little, in addition to implementing more biomes, enemy weapons and procedural generation of an entire biome.
After I decided on the new structure of the game, I started to work and at the time of this post the game is like this in the video.
The game is without scenery as seen in the video, but that's because I'm working on the programming part of the game first. At the moment I'm programming the procedural generation of the game, after that I'll just have to do the rest of the enemies, bosses, weapons, powers and a lot of things, to then have graphics, sounds and polishes.
The game is being played little by little and without much haste, and as I am going to do it just to study and train, it ends up free. Thank you very much for your attention.
